"Gale Literary Sources" contains articles from "Literature Resource Center, as well as selected Gale Virtual Reference eBook titles.
"Academic OneFile" and "Student Resources in Context" are good general databases that have some English/Literature Content.
Salem Press provides searchable digital reference books. Primarily Literary Criticism on specific topics or authors.
Purdue University's Online Writing Lab (OWL) is a fantastic resource for anyone doing research or writing a paper.
NoveList is a book recommendation database. Not all books in NoveList are in our catalog, but if you see something you think should be, use the Library Materials Request links to let us know!

1. Access the Destiny Online Card Catalog.
2. Click on "Central Catholic High School."
3. Log-in at the top, right hand corner:
Your username is "firstname.lastname" (same as your CCHS email) & your default password is your 6-digit student ID.
4. At the top, click on the "My Info" tab.
5. To the right of each title, click "Renew."

You can now use your CCHS Google Account -- cchsrams.com (students) or centralcatholichigh.org (faculty) -- to log-in to GALE database products linked on this page from home. You will have to set-up your account individually
You can now link your Google Account to your "MyEBSCO" account (if you create one) and use that to log-in to EBSCO Databases remotely. SEE HERE for more information. You will need to log-in to EBSCO using the Library Password to create an account. You will need to log-in to the Library Account once per year to re-authenticate your personal account.
Library Databases are subscription collections (i.e. things that we pay to access) of research sources including: Periodical (Magazine, Newspaper, Trade Journal, Scholarly Journal) articles, electronic Reference Books, Images, Videos, Primary Documents and more.
