Step 1: Place a Hold on a book
Using the Library Catalog (Follett Destiny, Here or use the search on this page) identify the materials you wish to reserve
Log-in to your Destiny Account (see details on this page) and place a Hold on the books you would like
Step 2: Holds and Reserves will be processed on Tuesdays and Thursdays:
Librarians receive notification of the hold, locate the materials, check them out to the patron, put them in a labeled bag, and bring the bag to the pick-up location (Main Office) by the following times.
Holds placed by Monday will be available for pickup by 3 p.m.Tuesday
Holds placed on Tuesday or Wednesday will be available for pickup by 3 p.m. Thursday.
Books will remain on hold for 2 weeks from the date processed.
Step 3: Pick up your Books:
Students may pick up their bagged books via the Main Office during the following times:
Curbside Pickup Hours:
3pm-4pm, Monday through Friday, via the Main Office.
8am - 4pm, "Student Life" Wednesday, via the Main Office.
Step 4: Return or Renew Your Books:
Books are checked out for 28 days from the date of process. If no other holds are placed on a Book, patrons may renew books by logging in to their library catalog accounts. Details on log-in and renewal are available below.
Please return books to the main office in a labeled bag.
All returned library books will be Quarantined for a minimum of 72 hours before being re-circulated.
Your default password is your 6-digit student ID.
Your Username is the same as your CCHS school email address, without the "@cchsrams.com"
example: email@example.com would be "jean.student"
Note: usernames are case sensitive.
Your Password starts as your 6-digit student ID number.
you should change that password to something you will remember. If you forget, the librarian can re-set it for you.
